The Reverend Canon Jason Constantine is an active duty chaplain in the United States Navy, currently stationed in Hawaii. In addition to his Navy duties, he leads St. Martin’s Anglican Chapel, onboard Pearl Harbor. He also serves as the Canon to the Suffragan for the Rt. Rev. Marshall MacClellan in the Jurisdiction of the Armed Forces and Chaplaincy. Originally from Michigan, he also claims North Carolina as home. He holds B.S. and M.A. degrees in History from Central Michigan University and an M.Div. from the Divinity School at Duke University. A self-declared Anglophile, he is fascinated with the Anglo-Saxon period and the High Middle Ages of English history. His favorite recreation activities include camping and woodcraft activities, particularly those associated with experimental archaeology. His other hobbies include playing the saxophone, playing soccer, following his beloved Detroit Tigers and any local minor league team, and reading works about the old west and American frontier. He is married to the former Catherine Diane Deskin. They have three children.
